iChip "Secret Lawyer" Argument.

The iChips created by various companies have not had an organized and stable testing facility, where the iChips were tested on its impact regarding human civilization health.

In order for the iChip to be placed back onto the market, the iChips must be tested by professional scientists. Many trails and experiments must be ran on the iChip in order to conclude if the iChip is safe enough for human use.

The testing facilities must have incremented tests on each part of the iChip, assuring the 100 percent awareness and dangers of the product.

The iChip is very familiar to when the cell phone was uplifted in the mid 1990s. Some people were diagnoses with brain cancer during the beginning of the cell phone era.

Since many of the companies were getting sued, congress decided to force the cell phone companies to open testing faculties to test the cell phones relation to brain cancer. The cell phone company found inconclusive results, allowing the cell phone to be placed back on the market.

In conclusion, in order for the iChip to be placed onto the market, and sold for human use, all companies manufacturing the iChip must open testing facilities and have results that the product is 100 percent safe for people.

English Center Piece.

The essay I would like graded would simply be my "POG 2" essay. I find that I put a lot of effort and time into that peice, and I would like that essay to be revised and graded. Althought I find all aspects of the grading rubric, was done very well in my perspective, the 2 sections of the grading rubric I find I did the best in, would be conventions and style.

I had very few spelling and grammatical errors, and my choice of vocabulary and words were very strong. My sentence structures were very well done, and my order of paragraphs were perfect in my sense.

I would also like to be graded on my style. I find I hooked the reader into the essay right from the introduction. I stated my main points, and transitioned them into neat and well thought out paragraphs.

So when you decide to read my "POG 2" essay, please consider my incremented grading rubric sections I want to be evaluated on.

Thank you.

POG Second Essay

The constitution is something that the United States of America has to help protect human civilization rights. The constitution is a well thought out document, assuring that the government is well balanced and no branch of government is more powerful then another. The constitution also reinsures the American citizen’s rights. Ranging from freedom of speech, to freedom of religion, the constitution is surely needed in society. The constitution guidelines Americans to what they can and cannot do, as it also applies to the American government.

During the ideal society simulation, we concluded that the constitution does highly resolve conflict between the government and American citizens. When people disagreed and we’re skeptical about the ideal society, citizens could create bills and pass the bills to the congress or the House of Representatives. After the bills were passed down to the congress or the House of Representatives, they could decide if they wanted to sign the bill and pass the bill as a law. This was a prime example of the checks and balances system. All branches of government had an equal amount of power. This equality was helped by the Constitution. Also during the ideal society, the government and American citizens could hold press conferences, to use the media to address current issues regarding the iChip and other ideal society news. Lastly, the judicial branch helped resolve all court cases that were presented during the ideal simulation. From terrorist acts to legal document demolishing, the people accountable of these acts were sent to court.

Once when the iChip was created and announced to the citizens, people were very multifaceted about this situation. Many thought it was very harmful to human civilization health. Others thought it went against the fourth amendment, where the government could track and record your thoughts and invade your privacy. This caused much controversy, and the citizens tried there hardest to help make this iChip acceptable to all. In conclusion, some citizens created bills trying to inform the government their ideas of how to make the iChip better. The bills were then passed to congress or the House of Representatives, where they made the decision if the bill should be passed as a law. If they agreed with the bill, the bill was then passed to the President, where the president made the decision if he wanted to legitimately pass that bill as a law. If he denied the bill, it was then passed back to congress and the House of Representatives, and if 2/3 of the house agreed with the bill, the bill resulted into a law. This was an example of the checks and balances system. Each branch of government had an equal amount of power. This just shows that the Constitution helps resolve conflict, because it gives everyone equal rights.

The Constitution also helps resolve conflict because during the ideal simulation the government and the citizens could hold press conferences to inform society about the iChip and other current events. The government and the citizens used the media to help get their points across and help inform society about what is going on. The Constitution allows people the freedom of speech, giving the people to speak what’s on their mind.

Lastly, the Constitution helps resolve conflict because the judicial branch chooses people’s consequences in which those involved in felonies or criminal acts.

Alg. Newsletter Project.

This is a small portion of my alg newsletter project. Telling about the history of the number "0".

During the mid 2nd millennium BC, the Babylonians had a sophisticated positional numeral system. If there was a place value that needed a replacement, the Babylonians used a space as the replacement.

By 300 BC, a punctuation symbol, made up of 2 slanted wedges, was co-opted as a placeholder in the same Babylonian system. In an old tablet, dating back from 700 BC, the scribe Bel-ban-aplu wrote his zeros with three hooks, rather than two slanted wedges.

The Babylonian placeholder was not a true zero because it was not uses alone. Nor was it used at the end of a number. Making numbers like 2 and 120 (2x60), 3 and 180 (3x60), 4 and 240 (4x60); all looked the same because the larger numbers lacked a final placeholder.

Records show that the ancient Greeks seemed to be unsure about the statues of zero as a number. They wondered how could nothing, be something. Leading to a philosophical and, but the Medieval period, religious arguments about the nature and existence of zero occurred.

The first early use of zero as a number was by an Indian scholar Pingala. It was in use for his binary numbers. Him, and many other Indian scholars called started using zero, but called it other names.

Years later, zero was being used by many Greeks, Indians and other human civilization.

People currently use zero across the world. Representing an amount of nothing. Also representing zero as a numeral.

Internet Censorship

Internet censorship, something that is debated and discussed by many people involved in the school district of Philadelphia.

Some are of the opinion that internet censorship is something that is highly needed. Internet censorship has it's advantages, including the facts that it will disable children from websites that will distract them from academic material.

Others are of the opinion that internet censorship is too extreme and that it is disabling children from many other sites, that may help children academically and allow them to have somewhat of an entertainment.

I can only state my opinion on this issue, and I would say that internet censorship in the philadelphia school district is needed, but it should cut down on some of the restricted sites.

Photograph Montage

A.) What is happening in the photograph? In this photograph, there are boats approaching the Chicago Bridge, waiting to go underneath. You see many tall buildings, along with a beautiful environment.

B.) What was happening before this photograph was taken? Before this photograph was taken, I can educationally guess that boats were just passing underneath the bridge.

C.) What happened after the photograph was taken? After the photograph was taken, the boats successfully passed underneath the bridge. Also, many more boats came shortly after, following the same routine.

D.) What were the people feeling and thinking at this time? I would guess that the people we’re very multifaceted with feelings during this time. Some may have been nervous going underneath a bridge; others may have been excited to see what it would be like.

E.) Why was this photograph taken? This photo was taken because it was such a beautiful sight seeing.

F.) What title would you give this photograph? I’d title this photograph, “The Chicago Bridge.” I’d title the photo that because it is a picture of the Chicago Bridge. That was just the first name that came into mind.

Part II

A.) Is this photo telling the truth? I would say yes. This photo is telling the truth because it’s a legitimate picture that had no editing and whatnot. It’s just a picture that is very well taken and shows the insightfulness of the Chicago Bridge.

B.) Is this photo telling the full story? Yes this photo is telling the full story. It shows a boat quietly passing through a river, about to go under a large bridge. There is nothing hidden in this picture, nor is there a hidden meaning to the picture.

C.) Is this photo manipulating or limiting the true story of someone’s life or and event? No, this photo does not try to hide a passed event of someone’s life, nor is it limiting or manipulating a true story about someone’s life.

D.) Can a single two-dimensional image communicate an entire story? In many photos yes, but I think in this photograph not really. It doesn’t really tell a story. Just a quiet environment, with beautiful scenery.

E.) What are the limitations to a photograph? There are no limitations to a photograph. Whatever you see, you can capture.

F.) Why did misunderstandings occur while viewing this photograph? Misunderstandings occurred because the person viewing the photograph was not there when the photograph was taken. Considering the fact I was there when the photograph was taken, I know the entire story behind the photo.

G.) How do photographs distort reality? Photographs distort reality because the photographs are taken of real things. Photographs can capture anything in reality. A photograph is an image of anything in the outside world. It could be a photo of your family, friends, school, the environment, cars, sports and everything else in the world.

H.) (The picture is posted on page one of this essay)

I.) Paragraph… In this photo, a somewhat large boat, small compared to the Chicago Bridge, is quietly passing along the river. The boat is soon to go underneath the Chicago Bridge. The environment is very peaceful and the atmosphere is amazing. Before this photo was taken, other boats passed along the river. It seemed like a routine that happened every several of minutes. This picture was taken of the Chicago Bridge on Michigan Ave, on January 14th, 2006. If I could title this picture, I’d title it, “The Chicago Bridge.”
